With a two week break as the lead in for this year’s AFL Grand Final, we thought you may have forgotten about the game, so we’ve lined up the best in the business to have a chat about the big game.

Matthew Lloyd has been there and done that when it comes to the AFL Grand Final. He has experienced the unbridled joy of victory against Melbourne in 2000 and the agony of defeat a year later against Brisbane. And he was also there when Essendon won its last final (against Melbourne) in 2004, so he knows what a drought is like too.

We’ll ask him if Melbourne can break a 57-year streak without a flag, or if the team that only 5 years ago broke its own 55 year Premiership drought, the Western Bulldogs will register its 3rd Premiership? He is also known as a straight shooter in the media, so he’ll give us the answers and the reason with typical honesty. He may even have time to answer some questions if Brent (Collingwood, so looking to even the score a few times) and Shane (Melbourne and hoping… just hoping) don’t dominate his time.
